Yoga has been an important part of my life for more than thirty years. Fifteen years ago I began to transfer this knowledge as a yoga teacher. First I taught Power Yoga, later Hatha Yoga in the tradition of Swami Sivananda, and then Yin Yoga. The last seven years I have been holding yin yoga workshops and retreats all over Sweden and worldwide. Since 2017, I have also been educating new Yin Yoga teachers. 2018 I founded the Arboga Yin Yoga Academy, where I train teachers and give courses and workshops in yin yoga.

I’m a trained teacher in Power Yoga (Petra Rydén, Paus, Falun, 2005-06), Sivananda Hatha Yoga (House Yoga Vidya, Bad Meinberg, 2008-09) and Yin Yoga (Magdalena Mecweld, 2013-14, Sarah Powers 2016, Bernie Clark 2018 and Paul Grilley 2019). In addition to the knowledge of these trainings, the meeting with my students and my pedagogical background (I’m a senior high school teacher) as well as my many journeys and several longer meditation retreats (both Vipassana and Zen) have influenced my teaching. I like to tell you about the importance of fascia, energy flow and mindfulness.

It is a great concern for me to help my students to find a presence in their bodies and minds. Yoga is a fantastic tool for that.
